The double room with the balcony offered stunning sea views, making our mornings truly special. Nestled in the heart of the old town, the location was perfect—full of charm and surrounded by picturesque alleys, although be prepared for some stairs! Communication with our host, Dejan, was seamless before our arrival, which eased any concerns about check-in; just make sure to touch base if you're planning a late arrival. The room was clean and newly renovated, equipped with air conditioning to keep us comfortable after our day of exploring. While there were minor improvements needed—like a duvet cover and a kettle—the overall ambiance and layout of the guesthouse made our stay enjoyable. For anyone visiting, take advantage of the bike hire to explore more of the beautiful surroundings; it was a great way for us to soak up the local vibe! despite a few small quirks, Villa Stari Grad offered a cozy retreat that I'd happily recommend for a family getaway.
